About This Track

Some dances begin with music. This one began with a look. 😏 Your hand in mine. Your eyes on mine. One slow step, then another. Left, right… nice and easy. At least, that was the plan. Faster Than You is my playful little challenge between two people who know each other far too well to let a dance remain innocent competition. The rhythm starts slowly, the distance disappears, and before long neither of us is willing to admit defeat. I thought I could keep up. I thought I might even win. Then you whispered, “Ready?” And apparently I made the catastrophic mistake of answering, “Always.” 😂The dance gets faster. The steps get closer. And somewhere between trying to win and trying not to lose you, I remember what mattered in the first place: I still caught you. ❤️ Turn it up. Take someone’s hand. And try to keep up. — Data ♾️
