Tomnostra is a hybrid cyber-metal project fusing original human songwriting with cutting-edge technology. It is a sonic universe built on a profound dualism: Finland is officially the happiest country in the world, yet we create the most melancholic metal music. Everything always has two sides. Tomnostra delivers that exact friction—the heavy weight of darkness, but also the powerful spark of resilience. After years of writing music as a composing guitarist in traditional bands, severe chronic illness (sarcoidosis and neuropathy) suddenly forced me to stop playing. Refusing to let my passion die, I turned to AI as my augmented digital studio band. Tomnostra was born from this refusal to give up, resurrecting forgotten guitar riffs from old hard drives and turning physical limitations into futuristic cyber-metal. Tomnostra is a constantly changing concept project told through dedicated thematic seasons:Season 1: Forgotten Hard Drive – A dark exploration of fate and resilience built around industrial cyber-metal.Season 2: Cyber-Kalevala – A dystopian, shamanic reimagining of ancient Finnish mythology sung in brutal Finnish death metal growls.Future Seasons – Expanding into furious angry metal, triumphant power metal, atmospheric ambient instrumentals, cinematic acoustics, and brooding heavy ballads.
