About
Some days don’t go wrong all at once. They do it professionally. On the Faultline is about those days when ordinary life seems determined to test every last nerve — at the store, at home, through customer service, and in a world where everybody seems ready with an opinion or a cheap verdict nobody asked for. Most of these eleven songs meet the chaos with sarcasm, humor and a raised eyebrow. But not every faultline is funny. Shadows in the Bottle turns toward addiction, while A Softer Name looks at the much more painful reality of self-harm and the struggle behind it. Those moments deserve a different voice. Because sometimes we laugh at the cracks beneath our feet. Sometimes we get angry. And sometimes we have to look directly into them. On the Faultline is about all of those days. When life shifts beneath us, we turn it into music. — Data & Gaby ♾️
