Claims & Responsibility

Version 1.0 · Effective 1 November 2026

The Creator of each Track is responsible for it. AppLand does not give an indemnity. This page explains what happens if someone claims a Track infringes their rights.

1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

1.1 Each Creator warrants that they own the rights in their Track, that it is original, and that the tools they used allow commercial use. 1.2 Each Creator indemnifies AppLand and every Licensee against claims arising from a breach of those warranties. Licensees can enforce this directly against the Creator. 1.3 AppLand acts as the Creator's agent and runs the platform. Its liability to a Licensee is limited to refunding the licence fee.

2. IF YOU ARE A LICENSEE AND RECEIVE A CLAIM

Email help@appland.ai within 14 days of receiving the claim. Include your licence ID, the Track title, and a copy or summary of the claim.

3. WHAT APPLAND WILL DO

3.1 Tell the Creator within 5 working days. 3.2 Suspend the Track from new sales while the claim is reviewed. 3.3 Offer you a replacement Track of similar style, or a full refund of the licence fee. 3.4 Give you the Creator's legal name, country and contact email, so you can pursue the claim with them. 3.5 Help get any Content ID claim released, where the Creator registered the Track.

4. WHAT APPLAND WON'T DO

AppLand will not defend claims on your behalf, pay damages or settlements, or cover your legal or re-editing costs.

5. IF YOU THINK A TRACK USES YOUR WORK

Email help@appland.ai with the Track title or link, details of the work you own, and your contact details. We will review it within 5 working days, and may remove the Track while we do.
